When we first met Andy in November 2022, it was clear from the outset that his expectations were extremely high, and his choice of tuition provider would be based on a checklist of very high standards and requirements.
Andy wished to support some Y11 pupils with the core subjects, so to illustrate what we can provide, we arranged a free trial session to help Andy understand what Purple Ruler does that other tuition providers don't. The trial went very well, despite Andy later admitting that he made the brief for the demonstration lesson particularly difficult, to test what we could provide! Andy was quite taken aback at the high standard of both our tutor and the lesson content. The pupils enjoyed the session and it was agreed that we would have the opportunity to support them with bespoke, engaging online lessons.
Courses started at Ark Victoria in January 2023, and we have enjoyed the collaboration enormously. Andy demands very high standards. That's something that he and Purple Ruler share.
