Dear Tennyson Learning Community,
At the heart of Purple Ruler and Tennyson Learning Community, lies a shared commitment to providing a personalised education that aligns with our distinctive values and vision. It is with great pride and enthusiasm that we come together to deliver outstanding teaching and exceptional leadership, ensuring that every child in our school receives an excellent education.
Tennyson Learning Community's mission places a strong emphasis on the fundamental right of every child to receive outstanding teaching. We firmly believe that education has the power to transform lives, and through our collaborative efforts, we strive to create an environment where each student can thrive academically and personally. Purple Ruler, on the other hand, is driven by the philosophy of working closely with children, parents, carers, and staff to establish and maintain excellent academies. By fostering strong partnerships within our school community, we are able to create a supportive network that promotes success and achievement.
While schools in a trust retain their distinct identities, they are united by a common purpose and shared values that propel them forward. We believe that by pooling our collective knowledge and sharing successful strategies, we can reinforce our commitment to providing exceptional education for our students. One such endeavor that exemplifies these principles is our online tutoring program. Through collaboration and the development of effective practices, we aim to cultivate an inclusive and supportive environment that empowers our students to excel academically and in all facets of life.
It is with great pleasure that we extend a warm invitation to you to join us on this exciting journey. Together, we can champion our shared values and create a lasting impact on the lives of our students. Your participation and support are invaluable as we strive to build a community that nurtures academic excellence, personal growth, and meaningful connections.
We look forward to welcoming you into our vibrant school community and working hand in hand to shape a brighter future for our students.

The Tennyson Road Primary School Story
Jo Quince
Tennyson Road
When we were intoduced to Jo, we found that she had extremely high standards and expected a great deal from the intervention. Initially, Jo wanted us to support Y3s and Y6s (with SATS exam prep).
Jo had used other NTP tuition providers in the past but felt that their Safeguarding policies were insufficient, so we had to evidence our provision for this in great detail.
Jo has now worked with us since January and we have built up a great rapport with her. We had a recent review meeting with her, and she was extremely pleased with what we provide and how we have collaborated on the set up of the courses. We look forward to a continuing great relationship with Jo, the school and hopefully the wider MAT.
