1. PARTIES TO THIS AGREEMENT 合同双方

2. PAYMENT 付款
- Payment must be made 7 days in advance of classes starting. Failure to pay in advance may result in the student being unable to start lessons on the chosen date or with the chosen teacher.
付款应在课程开始前 7 天完成。若未能提前付款，可能导致学生无法按所选日期或由所选教师开始上课。
- Accepted methods of payment (depending on region or platform):
- BACS
- PayPal

3. DELIVERY OF LESSONS 上课规则
3.1 CANCELLATION OF LESSONS BY STUDENT 学生取消课程
- The student may apply for approval to cancel a lesson by giving at least 24 hours’ notice to Purple Ruler.
学生如需取消课程，需提前至少 24 小时通知 Purple Ruler。
- Maximum allowable cancellations within each purchased block:
各课程包可请假的次数如下：
- 30-lesson package: up to 5 cancellations allowed / 30 课包：最多可请假 5 次
- 60-lesson package: up to 10 cancellations allowed / 60 课包：最多可请假 10 次
- 120-lesson package: up to 20 cancellations allowed / 120 课包：最多可请假 20 次
- For group lessons (more than one student per session): cancellation by the student is **not permitted**. If a group class is missed, it is counted as a used session and cannot be rescheduled.
对于团体课程（多人参与），学生**不可取消课程**。若缺席，将计为已上课，且不可补课。
- Lessons not attended without giving 24 hours’ notice will be charged at the full rate and deducted from remaining lessons.
若学生未能提前 24 小时通知并缺席课程，则该课时按全额收费并从剩余课时中扣除。
- Group Lessons (more than one student per session) 团体课程（多人同课）
Cancellation by the student is not permitted. Any absence will be counted as a completed session and cannot be rescheduled or refunded.
学生不得请假或取消课程。如缺席，该课时视作已完成，不可补课且费用不予退还。

3.2 CANCELLATION OF LESSONS BY TEACHER 老师取消课程
- The teacher may cancel lessons by giving at least 24 hours’ notice to Purple Ruler and the student.
教师若需取消课程，须提前至少 24 小时通知 Purple Ruler 和学生。
- Purple Ruler will either reschedule at a mutually agreeable time or provide a substitute teacher.
Purple Ruler 将在双方同意的时间重新安排课程，或提供代课教师。
- If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, Purple Ruler shall provide a substitute teacher.
若教师在不足 24 小时的情况下取消课程，Purple Ruler 将提供代课教师。
3.3 LATE ARRIVAL 迟到
- Fees are calculated based on scheduled lessons; no adjustment for student tardiness.
学费按排定课时计算，学生迟到不补时长。
- If the teacher is more than 10 minutes late, Purple Ruler will provide one extra free lesson.
若教师迟到超过 10 分钟，Purple Ruler 将额外提供一次免费课程。
3.4 OBLIGATIONS OF THE TEACHER 老师的义务
- Prepare adequately before lessons and structure lessons to optimize learning.
课前充分备课，合理安排课程以优化学习。
- Keep all student information confidential; contact third parties only with written permission.
保密学生信息，只有在获得书面许可时才联系其他相关人员。
- Do not assign duties under this contract to any third party without written permission.
未经书面许可，不得将本合同下的任何职责转让给第三方。
- Not required or obliged to complete homework on behalf of the student.
教师无义务代替学生完成作业或其他课业。
3.5 OBLIGATIONS OF THE PARENT AND STUDENT 家长和学生的义务
- Parent/Guardian agrees to emphasize consistent learning and practice.
家长/监护人应协助强调持续学习和练习的重要性。
- Student agrees to complete assignments punctually.
学生同意按时完成作业。
3.6 STATUS OF THE TEACHER 教师资质
- TEFL/TESOL or valid teaching certificate; bachelor’s degree or above; native English (or qualified for subject); extensive training.
拥有 TEFL/TESOL 或有效教师资格证；本科学历及以上；英语母语或具备相应资质；受过系统培训。
3.7 TERMINATION 合同终止
- Either party may terminate with 7 days’ written notice. If initiated by Parent/Student, remaining lessons or fees follow refund clause (3.8).
任一方可提前 7 天书面通知终止合同。家长/学生提出终止时，剩余课时或费用按退款条款（3.8）处理。
- Purple Ruler may terminate immediately for material breach or disruptive conduct; refunds at Purple Ruler’s discretion.
若严重违约或扰乱学习环境，Purple Ruler 可立即终止合同并自主决定是否退款。
3.8 REFUND CLAUSE 退款条款
- Refund of unused class credit up to 7 days before next class; less than 7 days—next class non‑refundable, others refunded within 14 working days.
可在下节课前 7 天申请退还未用课时；若不足 7 天，下节课不退，其余课时 14 个工作日内退款。
- Gifted or referral classes are non‑refundable.
赠送或推荐获取的课时不可退。
- If refund requested after first lesson scheduled, 30 % of total paid is deducted as handling fee.
若第一节课已排定后申请退款，将扣除已付总额的 30% 作为手续费。
- Teacher change: 4 complimentary 25‑min trial sessions with alternative teachers. If unsatisfied, student may terminate (30 % fee) or take additional paid trials (deducted from credit).
教师变动：提供 4 次 25 分钟免费试听；如仍不满意，可终止合同并扣 30% 费用，或继续付费试听（从课时扣除）。
- Refunds processed within 14 working days via original or agreed method; banking fees may be deducted.
退款将在 14 个工作日内通过原支付或双方同意方式退回；银行手续费可从退款中扣除。
3.9 RELAXATION OF TERMS 合同条款的协商性
One‑time waiver does not prevent future enforcement; no waiver of subsequent breaches.
任何一次性宽免不影响之后权利执行，也不视为对后续违约的放弃。

4. WHOLE AGREEMENT 全部条款确认
This agreement constitutes the entire understanding; alterations require written signature by both parties.
本协议构成双方完整理解；任何修改须书面签字。

The above minor is authorized to receive tuition. A parent/guardian must be nearby; otherwise, the session is cancelled and charged.
